The Bushnell PinSeeker 1500 Tournament Edition has been the most used laser rangefinder on the PGA Tour for the last few years. It is not as effective at getting quick and accurate readings as the Bushnell Pro 1600 but it comes very close and is sold for about $100 less. I recommend getting a PinSeeker 1500 Tournament while you still can since the Pro 1600 is the new model and they will stop making the PinSeeker 1500. The Bushenll PinSeeker 1500 has a very strong laser compared other laser rangefinders on the marketing making it extremely easy to effortlessly lock on to the flagstick. The Bushnell PinSeeker 1500 is twice as large and twice as heavy as the Leupold GX-I and Tour V2 but well worth the extra size and weight for its ease of use. On the other hand if you are a golfer that likes to walk the course you will probably want to go with the Leupold GX-I or Tour V2. |

| The Bushnell Pro 1600 Tournament is the newest in the PinSeeker line. It has the same dimensions as the 1500 but is 2 ounces heavier. The Pro 1600 is the most effective and easy to use rangefinder available but is still only slighty better than the PinSeeker 1500 and sold for an extra $100. I recommend going with the PinSeeker 1500 since it is very similar in size, weight and performance but sold for $100 less. | ||
( 3 ) Leupold GX-I |

Cons

|
| Similar to PinSeeker technology, the Leupold GX-I has PinHunter technology. The GX-I is great for those golfers that walk and require a lightweight and compact laser rangefinder. The GX-I sacrifices effectiveness and ease of use for compactness. It is still very effective but not as easy to use as the PinSeeker 1500 and 1600. Like the Tour V2 it does not range well to targets that are 200+ yards away unless the object is very reflective or large. | ||

The Bushnell Tour V2 is ver similar in size and weight to the GX-I making it great for golfers that like to walk the course and carry their rangefinder in their pocket. Also like the GX-I because of its compact size, its laser is not as strong and as a result has some trouble ranging to targets that are 200+ yards out when the object is small or not very reflective. If you don't mind the extra size and weight of the PinSeeker 1500 then I recommend going with it since it is the most effective and easy to use. |

|
| Similar to Bushnell's PinSeeker technology and Leupold's PinHunter technology, Callaway comes with First Target technology. The Callaway LR1200 is a little larger than the PinSeeker 1500/1600 but a little lighter. It has long range but is not as easy to use as the PinSeeker 1500/1600. With the LR1200 it can sometimes take a few shots before you get an accurate range. | ||
